125 miles for 125 years.

The National Trust came to us to produce two books, firstly to celebrate 125 years of the trust, and secondly to inspire people to venture outside, enjoy what nature has to offer and aid their wellbeing.
 
From crisp silent winter days to blowing away the cobwebs walking along the beach, to the first signs of spring through warn summer days to colourful autumn leaves, we needed to show it all in an inviting way.

The first book was aimed at the colder months and needed to encourage people to enjoy some the amazing walks at a time when the properties are quiet and the walks are totally different – in sound as well as visually.
 
The second was a Spring walks book highlighting favourite walks for visitors to enjoy. The beginning of Spring when everything bursts back into life at the properties and through to the Summer months.
 
The books were split into sections from easy all the way through to challenging walks, and also walk that were dog friendly. With sections at the back showing things to spot on the walks as well as a regional map showing where the properties are located.
 
We produced a master illustration that showed people enjoying the countryside, walking with family and friends, but also ran seasonally to show a year of walking. This was then easy to utilise and break down into smaller sections or even single people or objects to use throughout the books.
