Taking the agency from Breakfast Baps & Lattes to Porridge & Smoothies

Usually having the core team as well as various freelancers dipping in and out on a daily basis the agency is more often than not a hub of bustling creatives getting excited about new projects, but during the last few months of lockdown we decided to use this time as an opportunity for a bit of personal development, be it get a bit fitter, personal wellness, or even a course.

We decided that when we re-opened the office after the lockdown it would be a good time to start a cultural change in the agency, so out with the biscuits and in with granola bars and a fruit bowl (don’t worry, the pick ’n’ mix rack will still be available for clients only!)

We wanted to set a few staples to keep the creativity flowing throughout the day.

That’s Brave Breakfast Bowls

Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, providing your body and brain with fuel after an overnight fast.

Studies have even shown eating a nutritious breakfast will improve memory, concentration levels and boost mood lowering stress levels.

We’ve opted for porridge & fruit with the potential for the breakfast offering to expand as we embrace the Brave breakfast revolution.

Fruity Fridays

We’ve also been getting creative with our left over fruit by getting out the NutriBullet on a Friday to whip up some smoothie concoctions… well they’re a work in progress, so keep an eye on our social media channels for our favourite recipes.

Food for thought no more…

Taking lunch away from our desk, and keep your desk as your workspace allows you to focus. This also means you enjoy your food more when you have it, paying attention to what you are eating and avoiding potential ‘snacksidents’.

We have just finished an outside area that as well as having lunch can be used for meetings, thinking or even a bit of putting practice.

We still love a Curlywurly

Its part of who we are, but going forward you will see a more healthy, both physically and mentally, bunch of Braves.

The only way is natural

We are very fortunate that we have our office in the countryside with plenty of fresh air, but we all know the British weather can be a bit dull and grey, although recently the sun has been gracing us with its presence which is very nice!

But to give those grey days a boost we have introduced some foliage to the office, quite a lot actually. Lots of fresh greens are not only good for your diet, but studies have shown having green plants in the office boost productivity, concentration, creativity and more importantly wellbeing.

Hopefully we will be able to have more normal face to face meetings before too long, and you can help yourself to the pick ‘n’ mix, but until then get in touch by email at hello@thatsbrave.co.uk or give us a call on 01473 217993
